Richa’s Top Tips
- You can use any pancake batter to make these mini banana pancake bites. I switch between this, my chocolate ragi pancake and spinach banana pancake batter to keep things fun and interesting.
- You could even use a ready pancake mix for this recipe if you are pinched for time.
- When you grease the tawa with butter, make sure to wipe off the excess. This will allow the pancakes to brown more evenly.
- Slice the bananas to about 1/3rd of an inch to allow the batter to cook fully. If the slices are too thick then it’s likely the sides of the pancake bites could remain undercooked.
- Avoid using overripe browned bananas as they won’t hold their shape, which could result in mushy, broken pancakes.
